When photographer Chettara reached out to me to help her plan a styled wedding shoot, I jumped at the idea. Chettara’s ideas are always super cool and I was excited to work with her again! (Click here to see our previous hauntingly glamorous styled shoot!)

Chettara already had a mood board to start with. It was my job to take her inspiration and assemble a team to pull it all together, all while putting their own spin on the inspiration photos. (Much like I do for clients’ weddings!)
I immediately got vintage vibes from the mood board, which I was eager to update and bring modern elements to! I planned to tackle this challenge with an updated color palette and a modern floral style.
My philosophy when working with wedding professionals is that they should work within their “zone of genius”. For example, the florist knows best what types of flowers will give off the vibe we’re going for. I provide the inspiration and trust them to make it happen! (That makes it super important to work with professionals you know and trust or that come highly recommended.)

Fenton Winery & Brewery had been on my list of venues to work with for about a year. When Chettara saw that stone fireplace, she knew it would be perfect! They have spaces for the wedding party to get dressed, get hair & makeup done, a ceremony, and reception.

I have always said that an invitation sets the mood for the event. I love how Cordial Press Punch used shades from our color palette, but made the stationery suite a thing of beauty all on its own.

The Silver Spoon Wedding Company created this gorgeous 4-tier cake. The details are subtle, but add up to make this spectacular!

Our models, Jessica & Jerell, are a real-life couple! Their connection definitely shows through the photos.

M. Dawn Floral Design outdid herself with these arrangements! The colors and dimensions really make this photoshoot stand out above the rest!

Our rentals all came from Luxe Event Linen. I worked with their staff to find the perfect velvet tablecloth and a napkin color that would pop. I love how the clear charger lets the colors shine through!

And let’s talk about that dress from Elizabeth’s Bridal Manor!! I feel like it was made for Jessica. I am in love with all the lace detail. Jerell’s suit came from The Suit Shop, an excellent personal service to purchase suits for your wedding party and yourself.
Belinda Campbell Beauty‘s makeup look was simple, modern, and beautiful. I love how the blue eyeliner popped and perfectly coordinated with the ring from Your Personal Jeweler.
