I’ve only planned a couple of weddings where it is the couple’s second marriage, but somehow those celebrations seem more intentional and meaningful. Emily & Kyle contacted me to help with their intimate ceremony planned to take place at their home. Later in the day, they would have a kick-ass party at Brewery Becker in Brighton.
As we planned, the impending rainy weather became an issue that we had to watch. The morning of the wedding, we made the call to have their ceremony indoors rather than in their backyard. It worked beautifully!

Emily purchased faux floral and designed these arrangements herself!

Emily & Kyle are fun, life-loving people who are obviously in love with each other! I LOVE that you can feel their happiness and love in every photo! At the end of their ceremony, they celebrated with a first dance. Then, the weather cleared up and they were able to get some photos in their backyard.

Meanwhile, I headed to Brewery Becker to complete a simple setup for their reception. I moved decor from the ceremony to the reception so it pulled double duty! Their menu consisted of their favorite things: Sushi, a taco bar, & some delicious mini desserts. And, of course, there was lots more dancing!

They found a few moments to sneak away for some more wedding portraits in downtown Brighton.

And MORE dancing! Can’t you feel the joy in these photos?!
